Chicken Huntin' Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 24, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Chicken Huntin', published by Wicked But Wise, handles information in the Chicken Huntin' Android app and browser game.
Information we collect
You may play Chicken Huntin' without creating an account. The game does not request access to your contacts, precise location, camera, microphone, photos, or advertising identifier.
- Leaderboard information: If you voluntarily submit a high score, we collect the player name or nickname you enter, the score, and the submission time. The name and score are displayed publicly on the top-50 leaderboard. Do not submit your real name or other personal information if you do not want it displayed publicly.
- Local game information: The Android app stores information such as your local high score on your device. This local information is not uploaded as personal data and can be removed by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app.
- Technical information: Our hosting provider may automatically process standard request information, such as an IP address, browser or device type, and request timestamps, to deliver the game, maintain security, prevent abuse, and diagnose technical problems. Chicken Huntin' does not add this technical information to the public leaderboard database.
How we use information
We use submitted leaderboard information to operate and display the public leaderboard. Technical information may be processed to deliver the service, protect it from abuse, and troubleshoot failures.
Sharing and sale of information
We do not sell personal information, use it for targeted advertising, or share it with data brokers. Chicken Huntin' uses Cloudflare to host the website, leaderboard API, and leaderboard database. Cloudflare may process information as a service provider subject to its own privacy and security practices.
Data retention and deletion
Leaderboard entries remain stored while they qualify for the top 50 and are removed when displaced by higher scores. Hosting and security logs may be retained according to the hosting provider's operational retention periods.
To request removal of a leaderboard entry, email dev@wickedbutwise.com with the displayed player name, score, and approximate submission date. Because the leaderboard does not use accounts, those details help us identify the correct entry.
Security
Network communication with the leaderboard uses HTTPS. No system can guarantee absolute security, but we limit the information collected and use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the service.
Children's privacy
Chicken Huntin' is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child submitted personal information, contact us so it can be removed.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the game's features or data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when revisions are published.
